The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is an independent civilian intelligence agency of the United States government. Based in Langley, Virginia, it is the primary intelligence service to appear in the series due to its close monitoring of Koko Hekmatyar as the focus of Operation Undershaft, an initiative of George Black. Scarecrow and Schokolade are both members of the agency and Hex was a Paramilitary Operations Officer working under George.
Previously the CIA had also looked into Amalia Torohovsky but George Black was forced to back off by the DGSE, with whom Amalia has a close relationship with. The organisation also took custody of Leyla Ibrahim Faiza and detained her in Camp No in Guantanamo Bay.
Officer Divisions[]
- Collection Management Officers (C.M.O.) are in charge of collecting information.
- Staff Operations Officers (S.O.O.) assist other operatives.
- Case Officer (C.O.) command operations and operations such as Scarecrow and Bookman.
- Paramilitary Operations Officer (P.O.O.): carry out military operations with many originating from special forces such as Hex.
National Clandestine Service[]
The National Clandestine Service is one of the CIA's four main components. George Black is chief of the Europe Division and his subordinates include Hex and Spin, while R was one of his assets. It was the main proponent behind Operation Undershaft.
